Our History

The East Ridge Car Wash is a third generation family business. James Grant Sr. began his career in the car wash industry in 1962 and became one of the early pioneers in the "Tunnel Wash" model that is today's standard.

1983

He opened the East Ridge Car Wash on March 1st, 1983 where he continued refining the system until 1999.

1999

Chuck Grant returned to East Ridge in 1999 and began updating the equipment in the tunnel in addition to making several improvements on the building. Chuck's dedication and presence helped propel the business for almost 24 years.

2022

In 2022, Jake Grant returned to the car wash to continue carrying the torch. He remains committed to high standards of quality and care set forth by his father and grandfather.
